PERIODONTOLOGY
Services in the field of periodontology are:
- Removal of soft and hard deposits with tooth polishing
- Flap surgery with the addition of artificial bone
- Curettage of periodontal pockets
- Frenectomy
- Surgical restoration of receded gums using the Straumann® Emdogain™ preparation
Periodontal disease (“ periodontosis ”) is a disease that affects all parts of the periodontium, i.e. the supporting apparatus of the teeth, the tissues in which the teeth are embedded and which anchor the teeth in the jaw. The disease is progressive and destructive and leads to the eventual loss of one or more teeth, because preventing tooth loss in the advanced stage of the disease is impossible. That is why prevention and regular visits to the dentist, who can detect the disease in time and slow down and stop its development, are extremely important.

Subjective symptoms that the patient feels and that may indicate that it is time to visit the dentist are:
- bleeding gums, at first upon provocation such as brushing teeth, and later also spontaneous
- a feeling of tingling and burning
- tooth sensitivity to cold
- pain when chewing
- loose teeth
- movement and spreading apart of teeth
- teeth falling out.
During the examination, it can be established that the patient has:
- Inflammation of the gums, i.e. gingival inflammation
- Gum recession
- Periodontal pockets
- Purulent content in periodontal pockets
- Formation of tartar and concrements (hard deposits on the teeth below and above the gums)
- Loose teeth
- Pathological migration, the movement of teeth to another position.
The goal of periodontal disease therapy is to eliminate pathological changes in tissues, eliminate subjective symptoms, ensure good function of teeth and supporting structures, and prevent further progression of the disease.
Straumann® Emdogain™ is a biological product made of a unique group of active proteins that can be found only in teeth that are just forming. These proteins naturally reattach the gums to the tooth surface.
The advantage of Emdogain™ compared to tissue transplant is that a visually more natural end result is achieved, while the discomfort of the procedure is smaller for the patient.

IMPLANTOLOGY
Implants are the best replacement for lost teeth, as they replace and perform the function of the natural tooth root that has been lost.

ORAL SURGERY
Oral surgery, in addition to tooth extraction (routine and surgical), includes a range of services that are very important in dental practice.

PROSTHODONTICS
In our clinic, for impaired chewing function caused by the loss of a smaller or larger number of teeth, we use modern methods of oral cavity rehabilitation.

TOOTH DISEASES & WHITENING
Tooth restoration with composite materials (white fillings) is a modern method for treating teeth affected by decay, as well as minor crown fractures.

ORTHODONTICS
The clinic produces removable orthodontic appliances, functional orthodontic appliances, as well as metal and ceramic fixed appliances.
